How To Pork Braid
Remove fat and cut your tenderloin into three strips, leaving one inch at the top.
Drizzle a little bit of olive oil onto the meat.
Braid the thin strips of meat. Once they're braided place them into a glass baking dish and let them rest to room temperature.
Preheat your oven to 500 degrees. Next, multiply the weight in pounds of your roast, by 5 ½ minutes.
Put your roast in the preheated oven and set your timer for the time you calculated.
Once the timer goes off shut your oven off but do not, under any circumstances, open the oven door! Let your roast cook in the retained heat for 45 minutes.
The ideal internal temperature for pork tenderloin is 140 degrees. After 45 minutes, open the oven door and test the meat.
Pull it out of the oven, cover it with foil and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Spice Rub Directions:
Add coriander and cumin seeds, cayenne pepper, sugar, coarse salt and peppercorns into a spice grinder.
Grind the spices and rub them generously all over your tenderloin.
