How to Make Washi Wrapped Pencils
Directions:
- Measure and cut 6" x 6" piece of Washi origami paper into four 1 ½" x 6" strips using a craft knife, ruler and cutting mat.
- Brush a thin layer of Mod Podge onto the back of the paper and on the pencil shaft. Align 1 ½" edge of paper strip underneath the ferrule, then slowly and tightly roll the paper around the pencil shaft, smoothing as you go.
- Allow pencils to dry completely and then sharpen ends.
