Tia Mowry’s 2 Easy Skillet Desserts
Skillet S'mores Dip
In a 10 inch skillet on low heat, bring cream to a simmer. Turn off heat, add chocolate chips and let sit for 1 minute. Stir until melted and smooth.
Preheat broiler on high. Arrange marshmallows on top of chocolate in a single layer. Place skillet under broiler and toast marshmallows until golden brown, about 1-3 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly. Serve with graham crackers.
Skillet Apple Crisp
Preheat oven to 425 degrees, grease a 10 in cast iron with 1 tablespoon butter. In a bowl, add apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss to coat. Drizzle in honey and toss. Layer apples into skillet.
Place cookies in a resealable plastic bag, using a rolling pin, crush cookies until crumbles. Add melted butter and toss to combine. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until apples are tender. Remove from heat. Serve with ice cream or whip cream.
