Cheddar Cheese Fondue

Yields: 6 -8 servings as appetizer

Total time: 25 minutes

Directions

In a medium saucepan over low heat, whisk together beer, mustard, garlic and flour. Bring to a simmer. Add Cheddar cheese about 1 cup at a time, stirring constantly until all the cheese is added and melted. Keep the mixture warm while serving, can use a fondue pot or a heavy cast iron.

Serve with:
Bavarian/ german pretzels
French baguette or Ciabatta, cut into cubes
Blanched broccoli florets
Slice Granny smith apple
Boiled baby potatoes
Cooked/seared sausages cut on a bias
