Combine hoisin sauce, BBQ sauce, soy sauce and molasses in a bowl and set aside. In a medium skillet, heat olive oil.

Crumble tempeh into skillet along with diced onions.Add spice rub, chili flakes and sea salt.

Set aside and let cool.
Combine tempeh mixture with remaining ingredients in a food processor.
Add 2 tablespoons of the Hoisin/BBQ sauce. Pulse until blended and patties can be formed.
Using damp hands, form mixture into 4-6 patties.
Grill Burgers on a grill or in a sauté pan for 3 minutes per side, basting with remaining Hoisin-BBQ sauce as you go.
Serve on a sesame seed bun with lettuce, tomato, and avocado.
