5 DIY Party Hacks

1. Quick Chill Wine

Make sure your bar is fully stocked and your wine is ready to go. Forgot to chill your wine? No problem, just place the bottle in a bucket with ice, fill with water, and add salt. Salt reduces the freezing point of water, making your bottle of wine cool in under 6 minutes!

2. Slush-Free Ice Bucket

There's nothing worse than melted ice in an ice bucket. To keep your cubes nice and cool place a colander over a glass bowl, pour in the ice and watch water run off into the bowl leaving the ice cubes perfectly intact.

3. Makeshift Food Trays

Didn't budget for a food tray, don't worry you're not alone! Repurpose old trays and bins around your house as serving trays. Pro tip: clean trays thoroughly before loading on food, you don't want your guests to eat dirty snacks!

4. Store-Bought Cakeover

Take your boring store bought cake to the next sweet level. Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl and drizzle on top of the cake, creating a tasty and elegant design. Garnish with fresh berries to add a pop of color.

5. Leftover Wine Cubes

Can't bare to through away the last few drops of Chardonnay? Pour leftover wine in ice trays with garlic, various herbs, and freeze. Next time you're cooking, use one of these flavor cubes to add a little pizzaz to your dish.
