Tia Mowry’s Baked Brie Bread Ring
Brie Bread Ring
Yields: 10 to 12 servings, as appetizer
Prep time: 20 minutes
Total time: 4 hours and 45 minutes
Prepare a flat sheet tray with parchment paper. Spray with cooking spray.
Place container for brie in the center. Begin placing frozen rolls around the cheese, leaving 1/4 inch between each roll. Make 2 rows around wheel. Cover with clean dish towel and allow to defrost, about 1-2 hours. Once defrosted, allow roll to double inside. Keep in a warm area free of drafts. If kitchen is cold, heat oven to 200 degrees. When heated, turn off. Place tray in oven with door slightly open. This will help rolls rise.
While dough is proofing. Place brie in freezer for 30 -60 minutes.
In a small sauce pan, melt butter. Stir in garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
To bake, place brie wheel in the middle of the bread wreath. Brush rolls and cheese with butter mixture. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over everything. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. If rolls are not browning, place under broil for a few minutes. Serve immediately.
